Gilles Gilbert Gervais, 71, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday August 16, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born on February 23, 1946 in Ste-Sophie, Québec, he was the son of the late Edgar and Jeanne (Drouin) Gervais.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Robichaud; two children: Chantal and Greg; four grandchildren: Ève, Jade, Ryan and Liam; three sisters: Clarice, Gisèle, and Madeleine, and one brother, Normand.

One sister, Thérèse, and one brother, Guy predeceased him.

The family wished to extend their gratitude towards all the staff of the Dumont UHC for their dedication and good care provided.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Wednesday August 23 at 4 pm. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 pm until time of funeral.

In memory of Gilles, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
