Mona Dion Jomphe, of Shediac, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre at the age of 77, on Tuesday August 8, 2017. Born on January 18, 1940 in Matane, Québec, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Blanche (Bond) Dion.

She is survived by her husband, Lionel Jomphe; a son, Carl, as well as many friends and a beloved dog, Iza.

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac. Visiting hours are Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 7 to 9 pm only. There will be no funeral mass.

In memory of Mona, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) will be appreciated.

Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
