"It seems to me that if you or I must choose between two courses of thought or action, we should remember our dying and try so to live that our death brings no pleasure to the world." - John Steinbeck
Janet Lee Belliveau was a beautiful and kind soul with an infectious smile that would light up any room she entered. People would gravitate toward her laugh and heartfelt welcome. Janet was the life of the party and had the ability to make everyone and anyone feel comfortable in her presence. Her humour was something that would consistently bring joy to those around her. When not surrounding herself with friends and family, Janet spent her days outside at her beautiful home tending to her property, enjoying her pool, and a good book.
The daughter of the late Mildred Sowerby (Tilley) and Cecil Sowerby, met her husband, Peter Belliveau when she was 16 and has spent the past 42 years by his side caring for their beautiful family. Janet was a doting, loving, and proud mother to her son Brock Belliveau (Chrissy) and daughter Candice Carroll (Denis). Janet’s caring nature was exemplified through her role as a caring Nana to Sadie and Lydia Carroll and Bruno and Jaelle Belliveau. Loved by her family, Terry (Brenda) Sowerby, Dona (Larry) Melanson, Tommy (Carol) Sowerby, Barbara (Eugene) Sowerby, Katherine (JC) Conkling, Debra (Blair) Vaters, Cecil (Joanne) Sowerby, Candice (Dave) Robinson, Rhea Belliveau, Donald (Ruth) Belliveau, Jean-Claude (Annette) Belliveau, Laure (Francis) O'Brien, Roland (Denise) Belliveau, Rose-Marie (Omer) Leblanc, Nicole (Hector) Thibodeau along with many nieces and nephews.
