
Gabriel "Gabi" LeGresley, 68, of Residence Siesta in Moncton, passed away following a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family on Tuesday June 6, 2017, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on August 15, 1948 in Shediac Bridge, he was the son of Blanche Gallant and the late Léandre LeGresley.
Besides his mother of Dieppe, he is survived by three sisters: Gisèle Boudreau (Ernest) of Moncton, Évangéline Gordon (Robert) of Edmonton, AB, and Murielle LeGresley (Peter Perley) of St. Stephen; one brother, Dr. Conrad LeGresley (Renée Desrocher) of Grand-Barachois; several nieces, nephews.
A big THANK YOU to Carole and Marguerite of Siesta Residence who took care of Gabi for many years with tenderness, dedication and affection.
Despite his deafness, Gabriel graduated from École secondaire Vanier and retired from the Dumont Hospital after 25 years of service. He was always smiling, loving and welcoming.
By request, there will be no visit at the funeral centre. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ-Roi R.C. Church, 300 Dominion Street, Moncton, on Tuesday, July 25 at 11 a.m. Reception following.
