
Armand Babineau, 61, of Notre-Dame, passed away on Wednesday June 7, 2017 at his residence. Born on February 22, 1956 in Minto, he was the son of the late Gérald and Sophie (Pitre) Babineau.
Armand was a salesman for 34 years with Dupont Canada.
He is survived by two sons: Justin (Stephanie) of Memramcook and Jordan of Moncton; his wife, Heather Stevens; two brothers: René (Louise) and Emery (Dorothy), both of Minto; four sisters: Elsie LeClair (late Michael) of Saint John, Annette Babineau (Robert Gormley) and Juliette Moore (Malcolm), both of Minto, and Elda Richard (Normand) of Moncton; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by one sister, Aline Barnett (2016).
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude towards the staff of the Oncology Unit at The Moncton Hospital and the Extra Mural, especially to Sylvie Bourgoin for her exceptional care provided to Armand.
The family will receive condolences at Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur R.C. Church, 3863 Route 115, Notre-Dame-de-Kent, from where the funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday June 14 at 11:30 am. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm only. Interment will be in Minto. In memory of Armand, a contribution to the Humanity Project would be appreciated, in lieu of flowers.
