
Donald David Lusby, 74, of Shediac Cape passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Thursday, June 1st, 2017. Born in Moncton on February 11th, 1943, he was the son of the late Donald Rupert Lusby and the late Dorothy Mary Hubley.
Before his retirement, he was a CPA, CMA. He had a long career as Chief Financial Officer with the Treasury Board of Canada and later Chief Accountant with the Bank of Canada.
He was a family man who loved his family, gardening, cooking, RVing. Donald had too many more hobbies to list.
He is survived by his spouse, Sandra Mary Lusby; a son, John Richard Lusby (Yuko); a sister, Shirley Jean Pinto of Ottawa; a brother, Brian Frederic Lusby of Halifax; a step-sister, Maureen Baker of Pugwash NS; and five grandchildren: Allison, Emily, Stephen, Christopher and Carley.
Donald was predeceased by a son, Terrence Lusby (2009) and a brother, Robert Foster Lusby of Halifax.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Monday June 5th from 2 pm to 4 pm only. The service will take place in Ottawa at a later date.
In memory of Donald, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
