
Muriel Hubbard, 98, of Moncton, passed away on Monday May 29, 2017, at the K.E. Spencer’s Memorial Home.
Born in Halifax on June 15, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John and Muriel (Oakley) Brown. Muriel and her husband spent many wonderful years living in Montreal and truly enjoyed their retirement years at the Bluff in Shediac.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law; Margaret Brown, and Eleonor Brown; her nieces and nephews: Maureen, Cathy, Susan, Mary, Stephen, Michael, Jamie, and Robert. She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
Muriel is predeceased by her husband, Cyril (1981); brothers: Roy, and James.
In accordance to her wishes, a private family interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton. In memory of Muriel, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
