
Thérèse Gould, 88, of Moncton, wife of the late Roméo Gould (1980), passed away on Sunday May 21 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on October 31, 1928 in Notre-Dame, she was the daughter of the late Jean and Marie (Babineau) Richard.
She is survived by five daughters: Yvette Deveaux (André), Fernande Gautreau (Paul) and Paulette Cormier (Norman), all of Dieppe, Denise Cormier (Denis) of Caraquet, and Diane Boucher (Clarence) of Moncton; one son, Rhéal Robichaud (Elda) of Dieppe; seven sisters: Lorraine Goguen (late Alcide) of Fitchburg, MA, Cécile LeBlanc (late Raymond), Flora LeBlanc (Normand), and Corinne LeBlanc (late Léo), all of Moncton, Rose-Marie LeBlanc (late Godfrey) of Kingston, Juliette Robichaud (late Basile) of Dickfield, ME, and Jeannine LeBlanc (Ronald) of Leominster, MA; two brothers: Antoine (late Elodie) and Ulysse (late Rita), both of Notre-Dame; three sisters-in-law: Stella Cormier and Lucille LeBlanc, both of Moncton, and Jeannette Belliveau (Adrien) of Dieppe; 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by one son, Jean; four sisters: Orise, Yvonne, Stella and Rita; three brothers: Normand, Edgar and Francis.
By request, there was no visitation at the funeral home. A private funeral service was celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Thérèse, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
