Lucia Léger, 88, of Cormier Village, passed away at her residence, on Wednesday, April 26th, 2017. Born in Cormier-Village, March 26th, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Tilda (Gallant) McGraw.
She will be greatly missed by her four daughters: Dorine
LeBlanc (Alphonse), Bertha Melanson (Calixte),
Thérèse Léger (Bobby Arsenault) and
Jeanne Gaudet (Rhéal); six sons: Freddy (Diana Gallant),
Roméo (Claire), Noël (Jeannine), Ben (Odette),
Lloyd and Éric (Paulette); three brothers: Roméo
(Maxine), Donald and Ronald; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren,
as well as several nieces and nephews.
She
was predeceased by her husband, Fred Léger (2007); one
daughter, Rita; two sisters: Juliette and Theresa; three brothers:
Roger, Gerard and Ulysse.
The family will
receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main
Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday April
30th, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm
only. The funeral mass will be held in
Sacré-Coeur R.C. Church, 944 Route 933, Haute-Aboujagane on
Monday May 1st, 2017 at 10:30 am. Interment
will be in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Lucia, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
