Isaac Arsenault, 80, of Shediac, passed away peacefully on Sunday April 16th, 2017, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born February 5th, 1937 in Albertville, Quebec, he was the son of the late Isaac and Adrienne (Beaulieu) Arsenault. Prior to his retirement, he was a forestry contractor.
He is survived by his loving wife, Françoise; four children: Johanne, Serge (Francine Miller), Roger (Andréa) and Bruno (Linda); three sisters: Jeanne, Yvonne et Juliette; one brother, Edmond; son in-law, Langis Dubé; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one daughter, Maryse Dubé (2013); one sister, Alma; six brothers: Antoine, Paul, Gérald, Charles-Eugène, Adrien and Philippe.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Friday April 21st, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. only. The funeral mass will be held in St. Joseph R.C. Church, Shediac on Saturday April 22nd, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Isaac, a contribution to the St. Joseph cemetery would be appreciated.
