
Jeannine Roy-Doucet, 73, of Dieppe, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday April 16, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on February 26, 1944 in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Josée and Thilda (Frenette) Roy.
She is survived by five children: Gino (Janine), Sylvio (Suzanne), Raoul (Nathalie), Liette Williams (Mike), and Nadine Thompson (Derek); a special granddaughter, Ashley; one sister, Bibianne Morose (Joseph); two brothers: Lomer and Jean-Claude (Diane); 10 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, many nieces and nephews; her former husband, Ulysse Doucet.
She was predeceased by one sister, Ida, and one brother, Fidèle.
Jeannine was an RNA at the Oncology Centre of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont hospital.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday from 2 to 4 pm. The funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre on Thursday April 20 at 4 pm followed by a reception. Interment will be in Robertville. In memory of Jeannine, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
