Patricia Goguen, 88, wife of the late Émile Goguen, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre following a short illness. Born July 7, 1928 in Collette, NB, she was the daughter of the late Étienne and Émilie (Bernard) Doucette.

She is survived by four her children: Bernard, Claudette (Duane), Daniel (Patsy), and Ronald (Denise); seven grandchildren: Émilie, Samuel, Mathieu, Natalie, Christopher, Kaitlan, Chantz; her brothers and sisters: Stella Thibodeau, Mélanie Maillet, Cécile Després (Guillaume), Julia Richard (Léo), Ernestine Gaudet (Donald), Majella Caissie (Gilles), Georges (Odille), Normand (Gisèle), and Bernard (Jeannita), many nieces, and nephews.

Besides her husband (Oct. 2007), Patricia is also predeceased by two brothers: John and Abel; also, two infants: Marie and Joseph.

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Friday, April 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce R.C. Church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton, Saturday April 22 at 10 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Patricia, a contribution to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
