
Adrienne Lavoie, 99, wife of the late Henri Lavoie of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Serenacare Special Care Home. Born March 12, 1918 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Alphée and Célina (Richard) Boudreau.
She is survived by five children: Janice Carter (Wayne), Pierre (Susan), Marthe Lavoie (late Eric Bourgeois), Jocelyne Lavoie, and Simone Jobin (Jacques); nine grandchildren: Christopher (Natasha), Andrew (Darlene), Tim (Jana), Stephanie, Julie, Mathieu (Manon), Danika (Gabriel), Elyse (Marc-Antoine), and Josée (Jean-Sébastien); three great-children: Tanya (Patrice), James and Malcolm. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Besides her husband Henri (1999), Adrienne is also predeceased by a sister, Adèle; three brothers: Antoine, Bernard, and Fr. Benoît Boudreau.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ-Roi R.C. Church, 300 Dominion Street, Moncton, Thursday, April 13 at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
