Berthe Cormier, 92, wife of the late Camille Cormier (2003) of Barachois passed away on Sunday, March 26th, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in Barachois on April 16th, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Monique (Gallant) Gallant.
She is survived by her four daughters: Camilla Doucet (late Maurice), Charlene Hebert, Denise Giroux (Jacques) and Germaine Doucette (Rick); two sons: Paul (Marie) and Claude (Joanne); one sister, Sara Boudreau (late Laurie); one brother, Gonzague (late Anna); 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she is predeceased by one daughter, Raymonde (2016); three sisters: Bernadette, Alice and Georgette; seven brothers: Edmond, Camille, Stanislas, Ulric, Alphonse, Thomas and Omer; one grandson, Claude Doucet (2014); one granddaughter, Sandra Hebert (1974).
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, March 30th, 2017 at 10:30 am. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only.
In memory of Berthe, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
