Omer Gaudet, 84, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday March 15, 2017 at the Villa du Repos. Born on September 12, 1932 in St-Damien, he was the son of the late Alexandre and Henriette (LeBlanc) Gaudet.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an electrician at University of Toronto.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rhéa née Bourgeois; three sons: Maurice (Gina), Daniel (Marta) and Vincent (Patricia); nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; four sisters: Edna, Rita, Irma, and Thérèse.

He was predeceased by one sister, Jeanne; two brothers: Ernest and Alcide.

As per family’s wishes, a private funeral service was celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900). Interment was in Frenette Columbarium. In memory of Omer, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
