Françoise Cormier, 86, formerly of Saint-Philippe, passed away on Monday March 13, 2017 at the Villa du Repos in Moncton. Born on June 4, 1930 in Saint-Sébastien, QC, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Rose-Blanche (Mailloux) Fournier.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Gérard; her son, Gary (Angela); two grandchildren: Brandon and Athena; three sisters: Alida Dupont, Madeleine Hamel (Jean-Jacques), and Angèle Fournier; two brothers: Richard and Romuald; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three sisters: Catherine, Lucie and Clarisse; five brothers: Gilles, Eugène, Adélard, Augustin, and André.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday March 18 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Saturday from 10 am until time of funeral. A reception will follow at the centre. Interment will be in St-Philippe parish cemetery. In memory of Françoise, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
