Marie Edith Benoit, 66, of Dieppe, formerly of Moncton, passed away on Saturday February 25, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on July 27, 1950 in Beaverbrook, NB, she was the daughter of the late John and Regina (Pitre) Benoit.
She is survived by her children: Alice McCormick (Jamie) of Riverview and Alyre Malley (Debbie) of Halifax NS; two sisters: Bertha Malley (Alyre) of Saint-John and Theresa Daigle (Richard) of Saint-Louis; two brothers: George (Odile) and Raymond both of Miramichi; five grandchildren: Laura, Ryan, Rachel, Nicholas and Marcia; one great-grandson: Brady, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Linda Grant, and a brother, John Paul Benoit.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday February 28 at 11 am. Visiting hour from 9:30 am until time of funeral. Interment will be at the Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
