Dorice Després, 68, of Moncton, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born February 19, 1948 in Saint-Charles, she was the daughter of the late Félix and Madeleine (Doucet) Robichaud.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Francis "Frank" Després; three sons: Daniel (Shelly) of Dalhousie, Michel of Ontario, and Patrick (Julie Gagnon) of Moncton; five grandchildren: Jasmine, Jean-Daniel, Cody, Chantelle, and Michael Jr; one great-grandson, Landry; nine sisters and brothers: Noëlla Cormier (Emile) of Rexton, Généva Chevarie (late Ovila) of Saint-Charles, Marie-Reine Hébert (Roger), Eloi (Emerise) and Yvon, all of Saint-Louis, Gilberte Robichaud of Ottawa, ON, Guy (Simone) of Richibucto-Village, Bernadette Robichaud and Ola, both of Richibucto; special nephew, Aquila Robichaud (Denise) of Saint-Charles, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings: Aurela, Anna, Emma, infant Marie, Gérald, Jean-Paul and Claude; one half-brother, Emerie; a special nephew, Léon Robichaud.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Tuesday February 21 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. In memory of Dorice, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology) would be appreciated.
