Due to the winter storm, the funeral service
has been changed to Friday February 17 at 4:30 pm
at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton.
Gilberte Jeffrey, 50, of Moncton, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born February 14, 1966 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Noël and Blanche (Melanson) Cormier and adopted daughter of Clarence and Simone (Melanson) Jeffrey.
Besides her adoptive parents, she is survived by her two children: Stéphane Bourque (Amelia) and Amy Bourque (Jamie) both of Moncton; two sisters: Léa Bastarache (Gary) and Noëlla Cormier (Philippe) both of Sainte-Marie; three brothers: Léandre of Dieppe, Gérald (Janise) of Bouctouche and Bernard (Bernice) of Sainte-Marie; two brothers from her adopted family: Michel (Joanne) of Dieppe and Claude (late Susan) of Grand-Barachois; two grandchildren: Chase and Lilly; the father of her children, Bernard Bourque; her true friend who took great care of her, Paulette Marcoux; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Friday February 17 at 4:30 pm. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Friday from 2 pm until time of funeral.
