Charles "Charlie" Joseph Raymond Goiziou, 72, of Winter Street, Shediac, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Sunday, February 5th, 2017. Born November 4th, 1944 in Saint Pierre and Miquelon, France, he was the son of the late Edmond and Emma (Hillier) Goiziou.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Maureen (Briand); six children: Yannick (Linda LeBlanc), Nathalie, Charlène Eberhardt (Brian), Stéphane, Sabrina Gallant (Rodney) and Linda (Terry LeBlanc); three brothers and one sister: Raymond, Francis, André and Augusta Champdoizeau; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many brother in-laws and sister in-laws, as well as nieces and nephews
He was predeceased by five brothers and one sister: Edouard,
Roger, Paul, Henri, Michel and Marguerite Luberry.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours
Thursday, February 9th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm
only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C.
Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac, on Friday, February
10th, 2017 at 11 am. Inurnment will be in
Frenette Funeral Center Columbarium, Shediac.
In memory of Charlie, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
Cremation and funeral arrangements are in the care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac.
