Joséphine Belliveau, 95, of Moncton passed away at the Villa de Repos on Saturday, January 28, 2017. Born September 30, 1921 in Adamsville, she was the daughter of the late Zoël and Souverine (Cormier) Meunier.

She is survived by a son, John of Dieppe; a grandson, Marc Belliveau of Moncton; a sister, Christine Cormier of Moncton; three brothers: Joseph Meunier of Dieppe, Homer Meunier of Bathurst, and Edouard (Robea) of Moncton; many nieces, and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband, Gérard Belliveau (1986); a son, Zoël (1988); her brothers and sisters: Marie, Ida, Dorilla, Clorice, Edgar, Léo, and Émerie.

Joséphine has requested no visitation nor funeral service. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
