Roger Babineau, 75, of Moncton, formerly of Alberta, passed away on Sunday January 29, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on August 26, 1941 in St-Louis, he was the son of the late Placide and Olézine (Guimond) Babineau.

He is survived by one daughter, Pauline; three step-children: Sandra, Dawn and Rick; six grandchildren: Robert, Devin, Jamie, Heather, Brenda, and Randy; eight great-grandchildren; seven sisters and brothers: Yvon, Fidèle, Alcide, Lorette, Cécile, Yvette, and Andréa; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Mona Christopherson; his second wife, Marie LaPorte; a sister, Marie-Anne; a half-sister, Anita; two half-brothers: André and François; infant sisters and brothers: Maria, Eva, Vital and Valmond.

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday February 3 at 10:30 am. Visiting hour from 9:30 am until time of funeral. Interment will be in St-Louis parish cemetery.
