Lorraine Belliveau, 89, of Résidence Beaux Souvenirs, Dieppe, passed away on Thursday, January 5th, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton, following a short illness. Born November 25, 1927 in Saint-Charles, NB, she was the daughter of the late Jean and Marie (Arseneault) Richard.

She was a long time Dieppe parishioner, and a member of the Catholic Women League (C.W.L.) organization. She enjoyed her summer residence in Mundleville, NB, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her two daughters: Thérèse (Daniel) Bourgeois of Moncton, and Florine Belliveau of Saint John; five sons: Denis (Linda) of Victoria, BC, Roméo of Edmundston, Norbert (Lucille) of Moncton, Francis (Judy) of Florenceville, and Louis (Pierrette) of Keller, Texas; a daughter-in-law Murielle (Gaudet) Belliveau of Bloomfield, NB; 17 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Laura Richard; two brothers: Tim, and Jean Richard; many nieces and nephews.

Lorraine is predeceased by her husband Léo (June 2008), a daughter Rosa, a son Donald; five brothers: Luc, Aurèle, Gérard, Lionel, and Antoine; and two daughters-in-law: Maureen (Norbert) and Michelle (Roméo).

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours are Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse R.C. Church, 160 Ste-Thérèse Street, Dieppe, Monday, January 9 at 10 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
