
Yolaine Léger, 93, of Castel des Flots Bleus, Cap-Pelé, passed away on Sunday, January 1st, 2017 following a lengthy illness. Born on june 19th, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Éliza (Pruvost) Duguay.
She is survived by 10 children: Emery (Phyllis), Jeannette Surette (Réginald), Hélène Caissie (Ronald), Yves (Thérèse), Léo (Alphonsine), Aris (Norma), Louis, Paul (late Rosella), Omer (Jacinthe) and Roger (Denise); one sister, Mireille Bourque (Dismas); 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband, Ulric (2014); a grandson, Allain (2015); four brothers: France, Yveton, Acide and Gontran.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297). Visiting hours are Wednesday, January 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, and from 9:30 am until departure (10:20). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila R.C. Church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Thursday, January 5th, 2017 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
