Anita Mitton, 76, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday December 29, 2016 at the Villa du Repos in Moncton.

Born on April 22, 1940 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Anibert and Exelda (Caissie) LeBlanc.

She is survived by five sisters: Florence Richard (Jean), Arthémise "Bernice" Babineau (late Tilmon), Doris Arsenault (late Alcide), Thérèse LeBlanc (late Gérard), and Edith Duplessis (Edouard); as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Irvin (1986); two sisters; Anne-Marie and Rose-Marie; two brothers: Henri (Edna) and Leo (Blanche).

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Monday January 2, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 9 am until time of departure (9:50).

The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, 220 St. George Street, Moncton on Tuesday January 3 at 10 am.

Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Anita, a contribution to the NB Heart & Stroke Association would be appreciated.
