Rita Caissie, 62, of Chêne de Mambré Residence in Shediac, formerly of Irishtown, passed away on Monday December 26, 2016 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on July 1, 1954 in Lewisville, she was the daughter of the late Mélas and Irène (Cormier) Caissie.

She is survived by two brothers: Arthur (Ernestine) of Rogersville and Edmond of Shediac, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Antoine.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated Friday December 30 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Friday from 10 am until time of funeral. Interment will be in St. Lawrence O’Toole parish cemetery, Irishtown. In memory of Rita, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
