Louise Bourgeois, 95, of P’tit Chez-Nous, Grande-Digue passed away on Thursday December 22nd, 2016 at the Dr. Georges-L Dumont UHC. Born in Notre-Dame on July 29th, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Blair and Élodie LeBlanc.
She is survived by her six daughters: Anise Ramsay (Glen), Diane Boudreau (Éverard), Nicole Léger (Gérard), Roberte Boucher (Bernard), Carmel Clements (late Merle), Charline Drisdelle (Louis); one son: Hubert; three sisters: Yvonne Bourgeois (late Odule), Germaine Léger (late Armand), Elnora LeBlanc and two brothers: Blair (Aurelda) and Thomas (late Élodie); nine grandchildren: Craig, Michael, Ginette, Martin, Marielle, Brigitte, Chantal, Sophie, Tiffanie and 16 great grandchildren: Kayla, Parker, Micah, Jack, Émilie, Jaëlle, Harmonie, Sadie, Jonathan, Patrick, Lexi, Zoé, Alexandre, Anabelle, Ryder and Summer.
She was predeceased by her husband Sylvain Bourgeois; two sisters. Sara Goguen, Rita LeBlanc; three brothers: Laurie, Frank, Léo and grandson Louis.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Monday December 26th from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm only. The funeral will be held at La Visitation RC Church, 416, route 530, Grande-Digue on Tuesday December 27th at 10:30am.
