Gisèle LeBlanc, 62, of Moncton, NB, passed away suddenly on Monday December 12, 2016. Born on January 2, 1954 and raised in Fox Creek, NB, Gisèle was the daughter of the late Leo and Yolande (Gauvin) Cormier.

She was a graduate of the Université de Moncton with a B. Ed degree and worked as an elementary school teacher in Oshawa, Salisbury and in Moncton. Until her passing, she was a valued tutor as part of the EAL program at Moncton High School. She cherished and loved her work, and her students.

She was a member of the Église St-Henri in Barachois. Inspired by her faith, she always went well above expectations to help her family, friends and students. She will be remembered for her kindness, immense generosity and warm smile.

She is survived by her husband Dr. Michel LeBlanc and daughter Dr. Frances LeBlanc, both residing in Moncton; her father-in-law Clarence LeBlanc of Dieppe; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her father in 2005 and mother in 2009.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Anselme R.C. Church, 1014 Amirault Street, Dieppe on Saturday December 17 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in St-Anselme parish cemetery.
