
Marie-Anne Goguen, 87, residing in Shediac and formerly of St-André, passed away on Sunday, November 20th, 2016 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born April 18th, 1929 in Barachois, she was the daughter of the late Philippe and Mélécée (LeBlanc) Boudreau.
Marie-Anne was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed playing cards with her many friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Gérard; five daughters: Rachel Goguen (Steve Jones), Monique Pooley (Dan), Joanne Bourque (Reginald), Odette Richard (Paul) and Claire Goguen; three sons: Léo-Paul, Marcel (Louise Collette) and Roland (Héléna); one sister, Huberte LeBlanc (Loney); fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sons: Francis and André; one sister, Anita; three brothers: Léonce, Ola and Joseph.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Wednesday, November 23rd, from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm and Thursday from 9:30am till time of departure at 10:15am.
The funeral mass will be held at Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila RC church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Thursday, November 24th, 2016 at 10:30am. Interment will be in Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila cemetery Cap-Pelé.
In memory of Marie-Anne, a contribution to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
