Doris Gauvin, 80, of Grand-Barachois, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. She was the daughter of the late Émile and Rita (Bourgeois) Doiron.

Before retirement, she was an elementary school teacher.

She is survived by her husband, Francis; two sons: Roland of Grand- Barachois and Claude (Lyndsey Patrick) of Ottawa; two grandsons: Alexandre and Daniel; her sister, Lorraine Landry (Normand) of Cap- Pelé; many nephews, nieces and cousins

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers: Clorice (infant), Adrice, Alcide, and Arsène; one sister, Marie-Anne Doiron.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Wednesday, November 23 from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

The funeral mass will be held at Saint Henri Roman Catholic Church , 1356 Route 133 in Grand-Barachois on Wednesday, November 23, at 11 a.m.

In memory of Doris, a contribution to the Dumont UHC Foundation or the St. Henri Cemetery Fund, 1356, Route 133, Grand Barachois, N.B. E4P 8G7 would be appreciated.
