Jean-Paul Bastarache, 62, of Lakeville, passed away on Friday October 21, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on July 19, 1954 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Léo and Lina (Melanson) Bastarache.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Verna (Collins); two brothers: Roland, and his daughter Amanda, and Donald "Danny", and his foster son, Ricky; as well as several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ-Roi R.C. Church, 300 Dominion Street, Moncton Wednesday October 26 at 11 am. In memory of Jean-Paul, a contribution to the Greater Moncton SPCA or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
