It is with great sadness that the family of Leo LeBlanc announce his passing at the age of 82, on Sunday October 16, 2016 at his home. Born on April 23, 1934 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Anibert and Exelda (Caissie) LeBlanc.

Leo was retired from CN with over 33 years of service. Although most of his life was centered on his family, Leo loved conversing with everyone. His innate curiosity, zest for life and outgoing personality led him in many adventures. Leo was one of a kind.

Leo will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Blanche (Arsenault) LeBlanc; his five children: Claire LeBlanc (Serge Tardif), Susan LeBlanc, Charline Robichaud (Maurice), Charlotte Melanson (Jean) and David LeBlanc; fondly remembered by his granddaughter, Elizabeth (Ian Belliveau); six sisters: Bernice Babineau (late Tilmon), Doris Arsenault (late Alcide), Thérèse LeBlanc (late Gérard), Florence Richard (Jean), Edith Duplissis (Edouard), and Anita Mitton (late Herve); as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one sister, Anne-Marie Mercier, and one brother, Henri (Edna).

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce R.C. Church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton on Thursday October 20 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Leo, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Hemo-Dialysis) would be appreciated.
