Lisa,

My heart goes out to you and your three boys as you try to navigate this unimaginable loss. Please know that you don't have to face the days ahead alone. I'm thinking of you all, sending strength, love and comfort during this incredibly difficult time.

Time is a frightful thing, delicately and intricately passing by each one of us. Overlooked, but so desperately important- each moment fleeting. I know that in each passing moment your father thought about you, his love for you present in the midst of silence. I am truly commiserating this loss, I cannot place myself in your shoes to understand the grief you have been unfairly delt, yet, I will always keep a place for your head to rest on my shoulder should you need it. An ear open to listen, whether it be about the way you feel, memories of your father that you want to share, or to sit in silence with you. Your father will be deeply missed, but I truly believe that he will always be with you wherever life takes you. Much like your father, you are always thought and cared for by those around you; including myself. Please take the time you need to regain your footing, grief is not something that simply passes but is something that we learn to live and deal with, with each passing day. It is not a goodbye to your father, but rather a see you again- regardless of your beliefs, your father lives on through you, and I hope you never forget the warmth and loved he carried for you and your family.
I am so sorry Ben. Please reach out to me if you ever need anything.
I love you like a brother.

I am so sorry to learn of Richard's passing. Richard and I were colleagues at Agfa from his start there until 2023, and he was among the kindest people I've worked with. Supportive both professionally and personally - one of those rare workplace connections that became a friend over the years. My sympathies to Lisa & family and all Richard's friends & colleagues.

Lisa. I wish to send my most sincere and deepest condolences to you and the boys. As financial controller for DLM Foods, Richard was a key member of our team and everyone respected him for his skills but moreover valued him for his personality and the friendship and team player he was. Unfortunately over time we lost contact which I truly regret. Lisa, Richard was one of the nicest people I have known. We are very sorry for your lost

We treasured our brief time together during our visit to NB in May. This is a difficult one to write.
Richard and I shared tears and laughs(Many of the laughs were a bit naughty).
There were many days when he was in much physical pain, but that never stopped him from his work, nor did it stop his unique sense of humour. I've missed working with him since I left Agfa. I am saddened even more knowing he is gone far too soon.
Goodbye Richard, I am a better person for having known you.
With love, your friend,
Stephen.

Lisa, I just heard the news about Richard while out walking Fergus. Oh my gosh...I am so very sad to hear this. I'm so sorry for all that you and the boys will be going through. I really only knew him across the fence/hedge/driveway, but Richard's good cheer and positive outlook were always appreciated. He was such a good dad. I hope the boys can hold on to memories of all he did with and for them. And I hope you have support to help you through this sad time. Thinking of you all sending hope and strength. Debbie
