Thinking of you at this time. I had the pleasure of having Ron as a professor in the 70’s and then he was a guest presenter for CABET in the 90’s. He was dedicated and every bit a professional educator. Rest in Peace!

Dear Kaye, Michel & Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear about Ron's passing. He truly lived a remarkable and full life, and I know his presence will be missed by everyone who knew him.
I have such fond memories of our times at the Shediac Bridge cottage. I can still picture those wonderful meals with family & friends, sitting together and overlooking the beautiful Shediac Bay. Kaye & Ron were such incredible hosts. I'll also never forget how they looked out for me when I visited them in South Africa as a young traveler. Their kindness and hospitality made a lasting impression on me.
To honor Ron's memory and his lifelong commitment to helping others, I will be donating on his behalf to the Daniel R. Bourque scholarship at the Universite de Moncton. I know how much this scholarship and Daniel's memory meant to him.
Ron lived with energy and purpose, and I hope these happy memories bring you some comfort during this difficult time. He was truly one of a kind and will be remembered with great fondness.
With deepest sympathy,
Serge Melanson
