My deepest sympathy to the Grondin family. I met Frances when I was taking the flying course at the MFC, I was 17 and was in awe of this lady who was so kind to all of us young cadets who were learning to fly. She sat in on some of our Ground School Courses and we all treated her with the utmost respect ,She was really a pioneer for women going into the flying game an an excellent pilot.
In the words of the Chief Flying Instructor Don McClure she was one of a kind. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this very difficult time.
