Sharon, Richard, so sorry to hear of your father passing, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. I remember your dad and Gordon took a hockey team to New jersey and going through New York the Moncton Bears bus, which was borrowed overheated and they stopped at my sisters and her husbands place Janet and Jerry Belliveau to get a cold drink and a washroom break, my deepest sympathy to you and your family/

Al Cormier - Hockey is Life! I grew up in New Jersey with Richie and Sharon. My sister Leslie and I had a special relationship with them. Our parents (Cy and Flo Singleton) would Cormier - Hockey is Life. get together on weekends to hang out, play music, have a few drinks and lots of laughs! Al was the man that engaged me in NHL Hockey. The Devils were not around back in the 60's and 70's but the New York Rangers were the team I grew up cheering for and idolizing. Al started a youth hockey program with St. Leo's Church. We got up at 5am to drive to the rink and had the most amazing time learning the game. I have found that in my life, hockey is what gave me the most joy. I have to thank Al for being a leader to all us Jersey kids and introducing hockey into our lives. Heaven has accepted a great man. R.I.P. Albeo Cormier - Love to Richie and Sharon.
