I worked with Hector at Surette’s pharmacy during the summers while in pharmacy college….around 57-59 years ago…but remember him as a great teaser but a good friend.

It was with sadness I read of Hector's death. What a loss to his family and to the community. I wish to share my favourite memory of Hector and his willingness to help. It was in 1979 when my daughter was ill and needed a prescription refill. I was unable to do it from my job in Moncton. I phoned Hector at Surette's Drug Store, asked him if he would send a refill by taxi to our place on the Shediac Road and I would pay him later. Of course he did. What a lovely man. He will be missed.

My sincere condolences to the family . Some great memories growing up . Hector was a true gentleman and kind soul . He will be missed .

We met Hector in Florida and we can both agree that Hector was one of the most kindess person we ever met. Such a joy to be around.Always loved to be around people.Such a great man and he will be missed not only by us, but by anyone who knew him. Our sincere sympaties to family and friends, especially Florine.
