My heart aches for your family. I am so sorry for your family’s loss. Jay was one of the best neighbours I had growing up as a kid. The love he had for the canadiens and my love for the senators never stopped the two of us poking fun at one another for a couple years. I still to this day talk about my crazy Montreal Canadiens fan neighbour and the practical jokes. Thank you Jay for some of the best memories I have from in the neighbourhood.

Very few can say, even if they live to 100, that they have lived and loved to the fullest. Jay actually did. That's an Amazing life. Jay may have received his wings from the Military, but today, he got his wings from God. To all the Penneys. My deepest sympathies to all the family. A huge loss for all Canadians and the world for that matter. Jay was a tremendous Human Being. We are extremely saddened to learn of his passing. Jay was a natural leader and I gravitated toward him when I arrived to 2 CER back in 2001. Once Jay found out I was from Cambridge, he became an instant mentor and we always shouted "Bridge City" to each other when crossing paths in the field. I will always have great memories of Jay - especially hitching a ride in his Eagle Talon on base when we were young soldiers. CHIMO brother.

bernadette and henry ,my heart is broken the many times we spent together being pregant with our boys both were named jason joseph and the many times they both played together the memories hurt now ,whereas before they were joyful .
