I was shocked and greatly saddened to hear the news of Jocelyn’s passing. We worked together closely for many years in Environment Canada, where he was an exceptional researcher and extremely talented science manager. One could not wish for a more insightful, energetic, and innovative colleague! My heartfelt condolences to his family and to Jacqueline Belanger, his closest collaborator and longtime friend.

While reading this morning’s paper, I learned about the passing of «The Father of Microwaves ». And once again…as it is often the case in life, it’s a small world! I am deeply saddened on hearing the news of sad demise of Dr. Jocelyn. He was a magnificent scientist and gem of a person. I had the privilege of working under his supervision.
