Heidi & Ann & family, I'm so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I loved her! She was so kind to me but still with a strict & guiding manner throughout my skating career. I remember her going onto the ice in her boots demonstrating how to do back outside edges. I leaned into every word she said. I respected her so much. Please take care.

Mom, you were my very best friend. Totally loyal, very supportive in the most needed of times. You asked that you not be forgotten. I will put into place some things to ensure you are never forgotten. A role model, community leader, regional figure skating figure, business owner. You have done much and you were even more as a person. You touched many lives.

Grosi, You were a foundational part of my childhood and upbringing, from infancy through young adulthoot. I will always cherish the happy times that we shared and the impact that you had on my sisters and I while you lived close by. As a grandmother, babysitter, German teacher, caregiver... You were inspirational in ways that you could never know, ways that I still continue to discover myself only as I grow and mature. Thank you and I love You.

My sincere condolence to the family. I first met Leni when I moved to New Brunswick and started coaching skating. She was a strong woman and knew how to get things done. I learnt many things from her and will always remember her kindness and guiding. May she rest in peace.

Grossi, Thank you for everything you have provided to me and to our family. My childhood and upbringing would not have been the same without your wisdom, presence, humour, stories and knowledge of our family’s history. I’ll always remember our conversations over the years and am happy to have shared so many great memories. You’ll always be remembered.

Chère Heidi et Famille, Chère Ann er Famille, Comme vous tous, je garderai le souvenir de ma soeur Leni dans mon coeur. Elle était une femme honnête, sérieuse, toujours prête à aider, prête à nous motiver pour avancer dans la vie. Leni aimait vivre au Canada sans oublier la Suisse où elle a passé avec notre frère Emil (décédé en 2012) et moi les années de notre jeunesse. Je garde de ce temps des souvenirs précieux. Je suis contente de recevoir dans quelques semaines, avec l'aide de Heidi, un peu de Cendre de Leni pour répandre ici sur terre Suisse. En pensées avec vous tous. Trudi
