Ada Rideout
1955-2010
The story of Ada’s journey is a story of courage, grace, dignity
and often defiance against all odds. It is simply a story about the
will to stand up and meet life’s challenges head on with strong
will and determination. The journey has ended but the inspiration
lives on. On August 19, 2010, Ada, 55, lost her battle with metastatic
cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Robert, her daughter Megan and son Andrew, her mother, Teresa Baiani; two brothers: Joseph Baiani (Claudette) and their children: Mario, Dino and Louis, Benito Baiani (Geraldine) and their children: Laura and Sophie; two brothers-in-law: George Rideout (Zoë) and their children: Natalie, Nancy, Stephen and Rylie, David Rideout (Ann) and their children: Michael, Patrick, Simon and William.
Ada was predeceased by her father Cesare Baiani.
Prior to her illness, she was employed with the Royal Bank of Canada. During her illness, she volunteered as the patient representative on the Patient Care Committee of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and loved her.
At Ada’s request, there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard’s R.C. Church (Botsford St.) Moncton, on Monday August 23, 2010 at 2 p.m. In Ada’s memory, donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Cremation arrangements under the direction of Frenette’s Funeral Home, Moncton (858-1900).
