Sr. Stella Arsenault

Sister Stella Marie Arsenault, (Sister Marie-Gérard), age 96, of Maison-mère des Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, Moncton, passed away Friday, November 28, 2008, at the covent following a lengthy illness.

Born in Nigadoo October 10, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Emma (Doucet) Arsenault.

Besides her religious family, she is survived by three sisters: Carmelle Cormier (Laurent), Jeanne Doucet (Rufus) and Sr. Dorice Arsenault, NDSC; many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Edmond, Gérard, Ligouri, Roméo, Émirilda, and Rita.

Visiting hours Sunday from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Pavillion Notre-Dame d'Acadie of Maison-mère des Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, 141 King Street, Moncton (Godfrey Street entrance) from where the funeral mass will be held Monday December 1st at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Memramcook.
