Gertude Duguay

Gertrude Duguay, 88, of Cap-Pelé passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2008,at the Dr. Georges-L.Dumont Hospital, Moncton.

Born January 25, 1920 in Haute-Aboujagane, she was the daughter of the late Théophile and Mélina (Boudreau) Léger.

Loving mother and grandmother, she will be sadly missed by her two daughters: Eva LeBlanc (Gérald) of Cap-Pelé, Brenda Duguay (Bernie Allain) of Moncton; and two sons: Bernard and Ronnie (Carmelle LeBlanc) both of Cap-Pelé; nine grandchildren: Sébastien, Sasha, Gabriel, Pascale, Conrad, Jason, Annik, Renelle, Shelley ; eight great grandchildren. She was a special aunt to Harry and Jeanne LeBlanc.

She is predeceased by her husband Léo P. Duguay in (2004), three sisters: Sara, Élizabeth, Rosalie, and four brothers: Gérard, Henri, Aquila and Léandre.

Visitation at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Tuesday, from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until time of departure 10:50 a.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11a.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

In her memory, donations to the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital Foundation (862-4285) or the Beauséjour Family Crisis Resource Center (533-9100) would be appreciated.
