Ovila  Cormier
Peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday November 15, 2008, passed away Ovila Cormier, 83, of Bas Cap-Pelé.

Born in Cap-Pelé on August 13, 1925, he was the son of the late Olivier and Julienne (LeBlanc) Cormier.

He was a retired employee at NBLCC in Cap-Pelé, and was a member of the Club d'Age d'Or, Cap-Pelé.

For 63 years, he was the beloved husband of Emma (LeBlanc) Cormier; the loving father of Donalda LeBlanc (Norbert), Pauline Bourque (Roméo), Patricia LeBlanc (Alvérie), Lucille LeBlanc (Paul), and Aldéric (Caroline); pépère to 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter; dear brother of Yvon (Rose), Florine Fougère (late Laurie), and Marie Donelle (Joseph).

Two brothers; Gérard and Bélonie Cormier,also two sisters; Léontine Porelle, and Rita Bourque predeceased him.

Resting at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acaide Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d' Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé, Wednesday, November 19 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visiting hours Tuesday, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until departure.

A memorial donation to the Dr. G.-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation (Tree of Hope Campaign) would be appreciated.
