Peter A. Gallant

Unexpectedly on Monday, November 10, 2008, passed away Peter Allan Gallant, 51, of Moncton.

Born July 21, 1957 in Moncton, he was the son of Lucy Ranahan and the late Pius Gallant.

Peter was employed at Norampac, a union member with W.H.F.C.C. , and an avid Toronto Maple Leaf fan.

Besides his mother of Dieppe, he will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters: Michael, Joey (Karen) and Jean (Charlie Goguen) all of Dieppe, John of Moncton, Mary (Rob Knighton) of Riverview, many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, November 12 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Frenette's Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard's R.C. Church, Moncton, on Thursday, November 13 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.

At the request of the family, memorial donations to the Dr. G.-L. Dumont or Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation (cardiology) would be appreciated.
